Prunus persica Golden Queen
A medium sized peach with deep yellow skin and firm yellow flesh which is juicy and has a good flavour. This tree produces heavy crops and is eaten as fresh fruit, and used for preserves, canning and bottling - Clingstone.
Maturity: Mid March (Late season).
Suggested pollinators: Self pollinating
Tree care: Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
