Grow your own potatoes in this growing bag. Great for courtyards or small gardens.

You will also need (per bag)

• Multi-purpose compost - approx 40 litres
• 3-5 seed potatoes

Growing instructions

1. Place a 150mm layer of compost into the bottom of the bag, plant the seed potatoes about 50mm deep and keep the compost slightly damp
2. As the shoots emerge continue to fill the bag with compost keeping the foliage covered until the compost is approx. 25mm below the top of the bag.
3. If frost is forecast make sure you cover any shoots with fibre fleece. Remove when risk has passed.
4. The main stems will continue to grow until the foliage is 30-60cm above the top of the bag.
5. After the plants have flowered and the foliage has started to die back the potatoes will be ready to harvest. you can check the progress of your crop by looking in the opening flap of the bag.
